Subscribing to Dear Diary affords you many benefits.

• You won't see any banners anymore once you're logged in, and subscribed diarists can also opt to remove the Dear Diary logo bar from the top of the diary pages - so you can look forward to the site being a little less cluttered!
  
• As we add new features to Dear Diary in the future we are going to be making the bulk of them subscriber-only. They will mostly all eventually make it into the Free site, but if you want to have all the latest tools and toys then you need to be subscribed.
  
• You get your name on this list, and whenever your name shows up on our front page we'll highlight it so that people know you've subscribed!
  

Subscribing is easy, simply click on the 'Extras' button above and you'll be shown what to do. It's also cheap with three payment options to match your budget.

Subscription is NOT mandatory. If you don't want to subscribe, or simply can't (for whatever reason) then that's no problem - the Free site will still exist, it will still be looked after and fixed just as it always has and new features will gradually filter into it from the subscriber area.
Ofcourse we'd love it if you did though :-)
