It actually appears I was unfair to MySQL, after scouring the net I have discovered that its probably a glibc problem. I won’t explain that one, you either know what I mean or you don’t 🙂 Anyway, I’ve installed a new version of MySQL which has built-in glibc routines which reportedly will fix the problem….
Go visit http://www.symantec.com or http://www.mcafee.com or http://www.f-secure.com and grab a virus scanner/cleaner. I’m not sure if there are any free virus cleaners, though the one I use is only about $30 for a year and its the McAfee one… If anyone has any suggestions for Rosebud, please feel free to leave them as a comment…
