I’m adding comments. As you can see at the bottom of this diary… I don’t geddit!
If people can post me in email their comments and the diary they’re trying to post to, I’ll see if there’s any noticeable pattern.

I’m aware there’s an Internal Server Error problem on the Personal page (so if you want to change your profile you can’t at the moment). I’m looking into it and hope to have it fixed today for you. Sorry about that. Steve

I’ve been informed that our primary advertiser is going under. After 23rd September they won’t be serving any more ads…. Glad we weren’t relying on them to feed our family! Ads will still be shown, but this means back to the old provider. In fairness, the old provider seems to be making more for us…

Well, great news… The server was running nice and fast for about, err, 10 hours or so. And then crashed when it tried to do the nightly update!! Its done that once before, where the whole scripts just consumed all the database connections and left none for the web… Thats what happened this morning too……
