As of the end of today Dear Diary v1.0 is ready to go. We have to get the new server up and running (hopefully Monday) and get Dear Diary installed on it but the code itself is now (to the best of our knowledge) done with all known bugs fixed. Woohooooo 🙂
Hi all, The server went down about 12 hours ago for what was intended to be a 15 minute upgrade to add another Gigabyte of RAM (so that the load would hopefully be reduced and those darn Internal Server Errors would be less willing to show themselves) but unfortunately last weeks changes to the service…
I am going away with no internet access for a few days. I have someone who can reboot the server if all heck breaks loose but there will be no support answered until Tuesday morning (Australian time) as I won’t have e-mail access until then. Keep your fingers crossed that nothing breaks and hopefully everything…
To answer some questions, in reverse order: Plus Account Holders are emailed a week before the subscription expires, and then again when the subscription actually expires, so you get a reasonable warning. I thought I had added somewhere to tell people exactly when the subscription expired, but having checked just now I can’t find it…
