Reaching Out

Once again I'm pleasantly surprised. I've got a mail message from an old-times friend, reaching out to me to share his joy in fathering baby-daughter (Congrats, Hany!). Why I keep writing about these little treasures? Because it is something, that we don't see much in our crazy speedy world any more...the Treasure of Remembering. Sometimes we don't even have much of such luxury in real life.

He crossed my wwwpath in notthatgood times of mine and stayed for nottoolong; and 4 years - way too long time ago on a net time scale...But it is nice to be remembered and to be reminded that there are people on the other end of a world, who care...

When people come and go from my life, I don't cope well with it...When they've gone, I intend to dramatise the situation, hecticly search for a reasons and too ready to take up the blame on me.

I have learnt it hard way to accept things as they are now. That is why, perhaps, a little note from the past brought such a warmth to my heart, that it's almost the time to say "Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww" (except of I'm in desperate search for another expression for being deeply touched, as I personally can't stand "aaawwww" and don't ask me why, it's a matter of personal taste or just stubborness)

    People come and go for all sorts of reasons, not necessarily because of something negative that's attributable to you.
    Nobody knows you better than yourself and thus you know in your own heart whether you have love to offer others, or not.
    If you wish to judge yourself then better to do it on that basis, not the actions or reactions of others.

    oh I agree with you if you are viewing someone elses art then the truth doesnt confront you but I meant if you are doing your own art

    i seldom use the expression 'awwwwww' too. i feel it sounds like someone's sneering at what i just said. lol. of course it's just my feel too.

    how are ya, friend. sometimes i read here and i feel like saying "this was what i was thinking inside me which i just wasnt able to express" and you have brought it out for me.

    Yes I have said it in my text. But I learned some thing more to it. “ I will never try to stop things changing” As I always said nothing is permanent, so even when things takes “U” turns its no surprise. But learning to accept it is the hard part of it as we always try to analyze and compare the reasons. I wish you have fond the way, which in my opinion is yet to be proven on a long term.
