This is that time when there are so many candles, so little cake… but doesn’t this just mean more candles – bigger wish? ;-)
It might be unusual to be happy with your age, but somehow I am. It was much worse last year, when I really hated the number. It was the most meaningless number, so I would skip it and to the question of my age would say “almost forty”…I think, I’ve got used to be forty before I actually became forty. Age is a matter of mind and if you don't mind, it don't matter. What matters is to find the age you really like and just stick with it. And I like forty. It’s a nice round number. Forty. A good age to be Fabulous, to feel Fantastic, to believe in Fairies and still be able to keep the heart unwrinkled, even if the wrinkles settled in the corners of your eyes and in some other places.
And if someone doesn’t like the sound of Forty Years Old, I can always say: I'm 18 with 22 years experience ;-)
