People Move On
Thu Mar 16 2006

There is something inevitably sad about it...People move on…memories of them stay with other people. These are the memories of us how we used to be when we used to be…In fact those memories are more about how we used to feel around these people. When you keep such kind of memory instead of the old photographs, you don’t really bother if people have changed. For if you ever met again, you’ll feel the same around them, they will stay the same for you…but people do move on…such is life…And all we do is – wish them good luck…sounds like an ender’s tale, huh?

    So true.

May your dreams never end, but always be fullfilled...

The moment we stop dreaming, we stop moving?!?

    Hogwash, I say.

The very essence of living in the moment, which is the basis for all true happiness, requires us to stop dreaming, to stop living for another day, another time, and simply exist in the now. I have found that those with their heads in the clouds, dreaming of some far off place, person, or time, are often the most unrealistic, unhappy people I know.

Please consider that while I dont consider dreaming to be a bad thing, I do know that the river of life moves on for us all, regardless of whether we dream or not.

Enjoy the present. Your so called dreams will pale by comparison to the wonders of reality.

Hogwash, indeed. And may I add Balderdash??

Don't pay attention to Ed. We live in the present, of course: that's where we are. But it's the dreams that let us put that foot forward.

    Shalom
