~Where we start, is where we end…~
[David Gilmour]
It was the weekend, full of music. Literally…it was one of those times, you know, when after a rather stressful week, you feel completely emptied out, fallen into apathy, seeking some simple occupation that helps to let go anxiety…somehow it felt like updating playlist with new beautiful sounds, so I’ve indulged into craving…
Do you know that the new album of David Gilmour is out now?! And it is just so…I mean, Simply Wonderful. Mesmerising, takes you into the other worlds, so rich in colors, you can almost “see” the song, listening…
~Dreamers may leave ...but we're here ever after...~
Also found few old songs, that I’ve heard before but didn’t have in my collection. I’ve noticed that I might know certain songs for long time, but there comes a moment, when they suddenly become “heard”, lyrics takes on meaning, melody pulls your strings and a voice of a singer sounds in tune with something inside yourself…
After this weekend my collection was enriched with something new, like On The Island by David Gilmour, few songs of James Blunt, and with something from the past times…few of Bon Jovi (the River Runs Dry was just so in sync with my mood today!), Dire Straits and “accidental rediscovery” of a classical Julio Iglesias…so sentimental, especially, when he’s performing “If You Go Away”…there is definitely something in his voice, that sends shivers down the spine…well, maybe doesn’t work for everyone, but it sure penetrated deep into senti-music-mental mood here...
