Have you ever tried to catch up time? Or have you ever had too much of it in one day?
My Yesterday had 30 hours. Literally. 6 hours of time difference plus 7 hours of connected flights, plus few hours of hectic sightseeing in transit – all resulted in my day started at 6am in one zone, slided across few zones while I was crossing them “backwards”, adding 6 hours to my day and making it painful to keep eyes opened in the middle of the night of Greenwich time, when we finally landed in Heathrow…pheeewww…
Can I also mention that only 4 hours later I found myself in the office, as yesterday was the last day of my vacations…so today I’m no longer remember when was the last time I had a holiday and my compassionate colleagues had a laugh at my expense poking me at the meeting, when I fall asleep and watching me slowly finding my way through 969 e-mails in my inbox…the only good thing about me being on holiday was the fact that, apparently, my servers behaved very well in my absence, which made me think that, perhaps, I should be paid for not coming to work – that seems to affect servers in better way…hmmmmm…anyway, HI to all good people of DDLand! It's good to be away, but it's great to finally find way back home...
