Wow, somehow, I did it! I was tired and decided that for the first time since drivers ed started I would stay home, and sleep in, I though hey, I payed for all of this and I need a couple of hours more of sleep, and besides, thanks to a weeks vacation, I have a lot of days to make up in September, anyhow, so who cares??? I also thought about getting david to pick me up, planning on us spending some quality time together and then he could be the one to take me to school later for the m@p meeting, and also that would be our excuse to visit the hotel. No, didn't work, but inside my bag I took to m@p, was a nighty, and my explorers uniform, and also my test I studied for the whole week, for explorers, so what I did was when ms. B left early as usual, I called David, told mom that we were going to out and then he was going to take me home, and left school with David, and we went to a days inn and I was so nervous, I also told him about my smoking ciggs before hand, but he went inside payed for a room, parked the car, held my hand while we went to the room 218, and then I went in the bathroom first, to pee and he told me I could take a shower first, I was a little offended, thinking, do I smell that bad? because normally I wait till afterwards but I did, and then came out, in my nighty and he saw me, his eyes lit up and he was headed to the bathroom to do his thing when he all of a sudden turned around fast and said never mind, I'll wait. Finally I needed to get home, I was starting to worry that I wouldn't have time to study for the test again and get to explorers on time for the test, So I went home, after a nice long kiss and felt like I was floating on air, (probably because I was working the muscles in my legs a lot, if you catch my drift) and mom was asleep, and I woke her up, finished my flashcards, studied as much as I could and was a few minutes late to getting to the fire station. It was amazing, I've never felt that way when taking any quiz or test in school, even exams, I was so nervous and thinking I'd forget everything, but I slowly read each question through and could only spot one trick question, and I had gotten it mixed up so later I found out I got it wrong, and I ended up getting an 86% which was higher then anyone else, except someone who took the test for fun since he's a certified firefighter and shortly leaving the post, and I also got the extra credit, and ten points more then the guy that gave me the answers on the study guide the week before. Well, I was happy, and I liked how people couldn't believe my grade when they asked me, they were shocked. You know, surprised, Wow, Mary did the best? She's one of the newest people and they were probably thinking I wouldn't do that well at all because I asked a lot of questions everytime we went over material covered in the test, and like the items found in the rescue trucks and engines and stuff. I showed them! Plus they hadn't studied, so I was letting them use my flash cards and stuff, and I did study. The test was for us to take so we can go on fire runs with them and also passing that, esp. with a good grade and if the interviews we'll have maybe next week, which is really 7-18-01 go allright, well, I may def. become an officer! That just means added responsibilities and respect, like a teacher in a classroom.
That night mom wasn't there so I had to ask Delores if I could go out with david, and we went back to the hotel room from 10-11 and he didn't even stay there that night, went back home. I would say that's a waste of money, but it's nice for him to give me privacy and hisself by doing that instead of like at his place where his cousin is. I'd hate to have someone on a nother room while having sex.
