Billy Gillman is a twelve year old singer, I think, and I have the cd, with the songs, including One Voice, and Oklahoma, whenever I listen to that those are my two favorite songs to listen to, and the Oklahoma has been more personal to me lately, I listened to it in the car like two or three times already today.
In the music video, there is a boy, that appearantly is being taken out of a foster home that he has lived in " for the last 7 months or so,..." and being taken to his dad that the social worker has found. Since I'm going to foster care, it seems like some of the words could be applied to me, in a way, like how I'm leaving a place that has been a part or, a BIG part of my life, since whenever, I'm leaving the place where I have had really good memories, and really bad memories. It just sunk in the other night, that i won't live in my house anymore, when looking up through the skylights in my new bedroom (family room) I thought of how I used to climb on our roof, when last night, when Delores got a wheelchair delivere here, I took her for a "walk" and thought of how I'll miss walking to the stores we live so close to, and the bank and stuff, I may not be in the same school district anymore, so Thursday may not just be the last day of school till next school year for me, I thought a lot about a lot of these things. No matter how confusing and scary my unknown future is, I have had too much of the life I have now, good and bad parts of it, and need to move on, if it can't get any worse then it is, or has been, it can only get better.
I went to kings island today, rode about two rides, 1,? and then the thunder rolled, and the lighning striked. Everyone screamed and ran to safety, the rides we tried to get in line for forced us to not bother because they closed down. I was so cold.
Well, I have this notebook I wrote some stuf in while I waas at the house, I only have a little becayuse I kept forgetting to write in it each day and so by the time I got to updating I forgot most of it,.. I'm going to write them in here, for my memeory, and in the right dates.
