Server Is Upgraded

Hi all,
The server is now upgraded to a sparkly new Linux version. Service today and tomorrow may be intermittant as I finalise the final details and get everything in to proper shape, but mostly it's back.

Thank you for your patience everyone, I have some options now for the future so that such a length outage to get upgraded should not occur. That's the theory anyway :-)

You may well find things that don't work properly over the next few days. If they're still not working by Sunday afternoon then please drop me a line. But not before, I will probably find it myself if its before then :)

    Yay! I know I was on when the server load was completely in the red. I'd been checking oh every half hour or so. ;-)

    We're glad you are back!

    For Internet Explorer users you can clear your cache by going to 'Tools', 'Internet Options',choose the button 'Delete Files' located in the center of the box, check the box 'delete all offline content' the click 'OK'. Reboot the computer or simply refresh your screen and you will see the changes.

    If I didn't get that right, you'll set me straight right Steve? It's different for other browsers but you can click your 'Help' button and ask how to delete offline content or clear your cache.

    Oh hey I just did that and it worked! I didn't log off, just hit the refresh button after making the changes. Looks good! Wow no more squiggly writing!

    Woohoo! Great work, Steve! I'm really glad to see things up and running again. I was almost done writing my last entry when things stopped working. I knew it was scheduled, I just tried to beat it and didn't. Oh well. I saved it, as always, just in case.
