Removing Users From Friends Only List
Wed Mar 30 2005

Hello all,
I've received a number of requests to remove people from the 'friends only' lists because the diarists no longer write here or they're no longer required. For me to process these requests manually takes a lot of time that I just don't have at the moment and so I am going to have to respectfully decline to do this at the moment.

However, I appreciate that it's obviously a feature that I overlooked when I was writing the new friends only screens so I have added it to the list as the next thing I shall work on for DD.

Unfortunately as many of you are already aware, I have to have a day job in order to feed myself and pay the bills (DearDiary does not make any money!) so I'm not going to make any promises as to when that might be though, but it is at the top of my list now. It'll most likely be some time within the next couple of weeks.

Steve.

Can't the diarist check the friend off his or her list????
I thought we were the ones who chose the friends.. and lists.

Guess I am not savvy to what you speak.. again!!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This is going to be a great improvement especially to someone who is as complusive as me and can't stand to look at the friends screen because not all of the boxes are checked. LOL!

Thanks Steve for making it a to do...

Thanks Steve. That is a feature I have long hoped would come our way. I'm looking forward to it whenever you can get it done. :)

Oh, that is such a good idea. I get several Mailer Daemon messages every time I post, and have always wished I could just take those expired recipients off my list.

    Thanks in advance!

Ok so this is completely off topic and not a problem so I'm not e-mailing to you as a problem just a thought.

On the page where you leave comments it still says Hamiko in a few spots depending on if you need an account to sign in or not. But for sure one spot either way.

Just thought I'd let you know since you're changing all that stuff.
