Hardly seem appropriate today, and perhaps for some time. Premium Users still have all their privileges, but for the time being the smiley face is removed.

There's little more we can say that isn't said on the front page.

    Perhaps in place of the smileys.... maybe even to put this on all names, not just registered users... a dove, the universal sign of peace... or a peace sign.... or candle flame... ?

    I'm not from the US, but all this has really affected me too.

    As I watch the awful destruction in my country, it means a lot to me to read the messages of compassion from other nations. I really appreciate it.
