Server Move IN PROGRESS

Hi all,

     Well, so far the server move is progressing along nicely. It's always slower than one would like and there will be things that don't go to plan. But at the moment it's looking reasonable.



Some things to bear in mind at present.




  1. Not everything has yet moved. Hamipiks, OpenFiction and some other things are left behind but will be coming across in the next few days.


  2. The DNS probably hasn't updated for everyone. If you can read this, it has for you, but your friends may not be so lucky yet. It will catch up soon so don't panic.


  3. There's guaranteed to be something I've forgotten. If an area of the site isn't working as you'd expect, please let me know.



I shall be working to restore e-mail functionality for Plus users and if there's anything else Plus users are missing please do drop me a line.



Let's hope this is the beginning of a new exciting era :-)

    thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this site. It has become somewhat like home to many. all looks good so far, better then ever.

    It is rather like waiting for a space ship to return from the back side of the moon. You hold your breath and hope; then suddenly communication is restored and everybody takes a deep breath. Welcome home DD. :)
