I have just uploaded a new version of NextDD which now has Diary Themes support.
But before I get to that, I've reversed the Entry List so that the most recent entries are shown at the top, reducing the burden on your poor computers for those that have lots of entries since the list doesn't have to 'autoscroll' to the bottom now. If you are reading an entry the list should still scroll so that the entry you're reading (or editing) is in view. Please let me know if it doesn't.
I've also reduced the burden on the server, hopefully, by only fetching across the data that's actually needed to render that list rather than fetching across all the redundant data such as entry text... Of which there's quite a lot. That might speed up the loading of the page a bit, with any luck.
Now then, what you really came here for. You can now set a theme for your diary too. If you go to the 'My Diaries' screen, you'll see your diary, or a list of diaries. Choose which diary you want to work on, just like you would when you want to write a new entry. You'll see a new icon in the top right corner in the shape of a gear. The universal symbol for settings it seems π.
Clicking that will take you to a Diary Settings screen. There's not much on it yet. But there is the ability to change the theme of the current diary. Have a play. When you come out of that diary, your theme will change back to your User Theme if you chose differently under the Settings menu dropdown.
If you have multiple diaries each can have their own theme.
If you haven't chosen a theme the system will choose Orange for you as the default. DearDiary1 will stay on Orange. At least until I get bored of it π
As always, comments below. If I've neglected any feedback from any of you (specifically I think, D'vorah and MissTick?) check that it's not fixed in this release, and if not, remind me π
