Pictures - clearing things up

Rick took an interesting view on the announcement about the photo album's that I hadn't thought of. He asked if this meant that diarists would no longer be able to put photo's in their diary and that all of his had disappeared?

I can most definitely state that all we're adding here is a user friendly way of doing it - one that doesn't require you to get webspace somewhere else, then work out the IMG tag that you need to use to put into your entries and so forth. It'll work just like the graphics manager inside the system that currently allows you to upload new buttons and background images etc.

We are NOT disabling the ability to use photo's from other sources, and the fact that your photo's have disappeared is entirely a coincidence - one that i'm more than happy to help you isolate Rick if you drop me a mail to the support address.

If you know how to do photo's the current way, it's detailed in the FAQ, then please do continue to do this - we won't be stopping you, now or ever. If you don't, or don't like that way, the new Atomic Albums site will provide a far simpler way of doing it that doesn't require any HTML knowledge.

I hope that has cleared that up, and my apologies for the confusion :)

    And the odds of that happening by chance are?

    Actually you could probably work it out mathematically... Ten diarists, four subscribed, 6 unsubscribed. 1 x 10 + 2 x 9 etc?

    Maybe not. But its mathematically possible and its also possible I will just shut the hell up and get a life :)

    But if u subscribe does ur subscription cover one diary or if i make another one for somethin else...does it cover both diaries or do i have to pay for 2??
    I am wonderin cos i am startin another diary if that is okies with u hehe

    I've emailed the following to Rick, it hasn't
    been bounced back, but there's definetly a chance
    it might because of the spaces he left in his

    I've found Tripod (.co.uk or .com) to be a pretty
    good alternative for linking your artwork.
    A possible 100 free megs (if you play the system
    and pretend you really care about your site there:)
