DOWNTIME

The database and entire service for ALL Atomic Systems is being transported to a new server. Expect intermittent service and total failures throughout today. Normal service should be resumed by this evening. Indeed, better than normal service because if its just normal service (ie slow in the evenings!) then we wasted our time and $500 a month!

Sorry for the hassle. Imagine how my hassle and stress levels are right now :)

    Please don't beat yourself up! Changing over servers is a nightmare EVEN without hardware problem on new equipment and in the best of circumstances. And I know from personal experience that dealing with Network Solutions is even worse. AND DD is screaming now! Very quick response. Thanks guys.

    I guess I was lucky - I was clueless that there were any problems until I read this. Sounds like you did service above and beyond the call of duty yesterday. Knowing what you were willing to go through for this site makes me more sure than ever that I made the right choice in selecting an update point for my cyber-community. Thanks for keeping things running so smoothly (far more smoothly than you apparently are giving yourself credit for).
