Would we have to re-write some songs?
“Green sky, smillin’ at me,
nothin’ but green skies do I see.”
Or:
“Beyond the green horizon, waits a beautiful day.”
And at baseball games the announcers (who think something AWFUL will happen if they don’t talk non-stop) will start the broadcast with:
“It’s a beautiful day here in Fenway Park, clear green sky with a gentle breeze. Perfect weather for this first game of the World Series.”
What would an impending storm look like with emerald green peeking out from behind angry dark gray clouds? . . . Like a sorcerer’s dream, that’s what.
How about the moon hanging in a pale green sky? A harvest moon, golden and huge.
Sunsets with blazing orange clouds on a green canvas. That would be amazing to see don’t you think?
I suppose the ocean would be green too. Green sky, green grass, green trees, green water…. Hmmm, maybe this green thing is not such a good idea after all.
We might end up with a bunch of people running around like the Queen in Alice in Wonderland, painting the trees blue or something, just to break up the monotony.
But still, I would like to see that one time. An emerald green sky.
Just for fun you know. Just for a day.
