Busy Day
Sat Jul 26 2003

Lest you think I twiddle my thumbs ALL the time at work...

I was busy from beginning to end of this day.

True, I got bounced around to 4 different people, but did some satisfying work for all of them.

My favorite part of the day was the last hour and a half when I filled out some forms by hand that were used to mail things off on a regular basis. It was so ME to be sitting there in front of my turned off computer writing things by hand. It made for a non stressful ending to the day.

I am so looking forward to Shabbat this week. It's like an oasis to me more than ever.

Off to set the table, get the candles ready and make a Shabbat dinner. The chicken is cooked thanks to the crock pot. What a great little invention that thing is...

Happy Weekend all....

The crockpot and the microwave. I'd probably starve without them. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches get awfully old after awhile.

    Shabbat Shalom!

Enjoy the weekend. I have to admit I know not what Shabbot is so I am not sure if I am supposed to say enjoy? It is a goal of mine to learn more about these things.

as for the bikkie thing, our scones can be both savoury and sweet, but the ones in the gravy i believe we called 'dumplings'
are there such things as dumplings in the u.s?
mmm, you've got me craving hot cheese scones now with melting butter
