The Dog Summit of Antiquity
Wed Mar 31 2004

Yesterday I ran across the following article by Charles Krauthammer that just made my day. He is one of my heros. He usually writes about politics, this article was a departure. He was writing about his family dogs, in his usual dry and witty style. I thought some of you might enjoy it.

Dogs

I spent most of the day Spring cleaning my computer/work room. Whew! The curtains are now washed and ironed and hung back up. They look much better. And I re-arranged a bit in here which gives me a little more room. It is always nice to move things around a bit. And I like knowing that behind that desk, there are no dustbunnies multiplying. I also spent over an hour putting pictures in albums. After that chore, I have made the decision to get some of those "shoe box" kind of picture files, as this album thing is just too cumbersome and taking up more space than necessary. So from now on, boxes it is.

Now all that's left to clean before Passover is the living room and the kitchen.
Living room tomorrow or the next day. The kitchen will take two days for sure.
Heaven help you if you are something made from grain!

I'm pooped.

Time for Dr. Phil.

That was a very nice article. I like Krauthammer too, he's often on with Brit Hume on Fox News.

You know, I don't have to remind you that you have a standing invitation to come over to my house ANY time you like. I won't make you clean. I won't promise that I won't, but we'll just say I won't and then see what happens when you get over here.

    At least I'm honest!
You're just so good at it!

You're right it's a lovely article and very funny in parts too. I don't suppose you'd consider loaning yourself out on a contract basis for cleaning huh? All I can promise is coffee though, ah well worth a try.

I loved the DOG story. Oh I wish I could write like that for it is so hard for me.
I feel sorry for readers that have to wade through my sorry dribble.
    Sigh!!!

The Dogs editorial: Too true, and why I used to be a "dog-person".

Unfortuately, before I got any dogs, my cats got me. Once in servitude to cats, it becomes difficult to turn back. The cats won't usually let you.
