I have been using my felted wool purse these last few days, and I tell you, when I pick it up, I find it hard not to give it a big hug! It is such a springy, soft and "lively" feeling little thing. . . I wasn't prepared for that aspect of these bags. Wool really is a "natural" fiber, one that a person makes a connection with. I can hardly wait to make another one. I ordered a pattern book from Amazon, and it arrived in the mail today. It has a bag in it that I have been drooling over ever since I first saw it. My fingers are itching to get started. Here is a picture from the catalog. I don't know what color I will be making, but I like what they did with this one. . .

Have I gone daft?
Very likely.
We are headed up to the mountains to my parent's house later on. This time I get to see me brudder, who I have missed on several of his visits up there. Woo Hoo!
I hear there is still snow on the ground so I better take my warm shoes and hat and gloves and big coat!!!
I will leave you with a quote from Rabbi Nachman of Breslov:
"Remember:
Nothing begets wholeness in life
better than a heartfelt sigh."
