Here, Jump Through This Hoop Please.... Okay.
Tue Feb 15 2005

I have been to the first of two interviews today for a position as a personal caregiver. Not medical, but for people with various disabilities who still live in their own homes or apartments, but need help with basic housekeeping skills and other coping skills. I have to go back tomorrow to see the "real" interviewer. Today I just looked at a form that described the work and said "Yes, I think I can do that." Alrighty then, they said, come back tomorrow. . . Okeeday.

We shall see if they are willing to take a chance on a peri-menopausal manic-depressive, half wild woman for the opening..... Brave souls eh?

I am all ready for my writing group tomorrow night. My assignment is tucked up in my folder. I will post it here after I share it at the meeting.

And now for a word from our Red Headed friend:

[album 65561 GoofyHen2.JPG]

"Some chicks take longer to hatch than others. There's no use ruffling your feathers over it !"

(What is she TALKING about?)

I don't know, I just pass 'em on, I don't write 'em!

(Yeah, like we are going to buy THAT one!)

Skeptic.

Good luck tomorrow. Peri-meno-m-d may be just exactly what's needed. For you, that is.

And living with that crazy husband of yours has given you a huge education in tolerance for other peoples' tics. Right?

    Love...

I am sure there is a life lesson there; Quilty thought so anyway. She is over there clucking in agreement. A certain quilt we were trying to get done by the end of the weekend is still on the work table. She insisted I stop fussing about it and just take the extra time needed. She says in the long run I will be happy that I did for I'll do a better job. She does have a point.

hi little red hen I am such a perv
I see you are eating all your philosophical cereal because your mind is strong and bright

yes people expect chicks to all hatch at the same time but they do not and they expect all the eggs to look the same and they dont and it all depends on how you sit on them

have a beautiful day mon amie I see you have reached the fucking epitome of cuteness

    Good luck with your interview.

I have some friends who used to do this kind of work. It can be really tough depending on what sort of disability the clients have, but really rewarding too.
