Break Out The Knitting Needles!
Tue Mar 08 2005

Well, I hardly know how to behave.

It's so warm here today, I actually broke a sweat while shopping. I am not really all that fond of sweating. But there you have it. One sweats. One must get used to it.

I forgot how uncomfortable it is inside a car when it's warm outside. I better start making my shopping trips first thing in the morning again.

I had a list as long as my arm and five stops today. One stop beyond my comfort level. But since the last one was a trip to the gas station, I decided not to put it off. Gas prices are going up like flood waters everywhere you look, so I got a tank full and now intend to horde it unmercifully by only going out when I have lots to do and combine trips as much as is humanly possible.

My yarn came from Patternworks today. It's all there but one skein that will ship later. And it's no wonder that the one color that didn't come is. . . . Taupe. It must have heard all the insulting things I said about that color a while back and decided to be late just to annoy me. Well, I probably deserve it. They will ship it in 10 days or so according to the packing slip.

We shall see how many felted bags I can make with this stuff.

I've been called to work this coming Sunday afternoon for another 10 hour shift. So far, they have given me pretty good notice before jobs. I haven't had to drop everything and dash for the door. I hope this trend continues! If so, this job and I will get along just fine.

When are you going to start selling those purses? Or are you hoarding them?

I like those colors, and I also like taupe. I'm going to start looking for summer colors and make another goes-with-everything bag. Not as big as the fall-winter one.

Haven't figured out how to make the cord with a crochet hook. Maybe I can talk you into making good use of some yarn for me?

    Shalom

It does seem a bit early to be so warm. I was out and about today in a sleeveless shirt.

I don't mind the heat to a point, but the hot flashes on top of it; those I mind!

Lovely yarn! I can't wait to see what comes of it.

Yes, the job sounds okay. It's a long day, but at least you can knit and read, etc.

This green font is terrific, very cheery.
