New Toys !
Sun Sep 04 2005

I am here learning how to use the new text editor in Dear Diary that has just been added. There are some things in here, I have never seen before in the way of editing tools. !  If I knew how to use flash, I could put some in here. But that is something only my sons know about. I am not afraid to admit my ignorance. Alas the font selection is still very limited. And why this is so is a continual source of unhappiness for me.
But at least it is easy to change it if you take a notion. More smilies would be fun. The array of those available in Yahoo chat are quite nice.Just listen to me whine won't you?
I am going to have to check out the help files on this thing on line and play with it a bit more to see how I like it compared to Bloggar. Did you hear that a premium membership is only 18 dollars a year now?  That is fabulous news! Especially because you get some really great software to store photos and it is easy to use to get them onto your diary. So, I guess that is enough playing around for today. If anyone finds out how to use some of these bells and whistles, clue me in will ya?

Bye!

All those goodies!! But I still can't find a quick way to get to my past diaries.

    Oh well.

No, I want to find *my* previous diaries. So I can print them. I want a shortcut. I can't find the diaries, but it's tedious process. I want a shortcut.

The Index works. But it's also a tedious process. I want a GoTo: and type in a date or a subject. And voila! there it is. I think Steve is working on something like that (after I complained).

It's now 2005 (3/4 of the way done, already), and I want to go to 2003 in a hurry. So I want a GoTo:

Yeah, that was the best I found... Are you talking about using Kitchen cotton or something else? Kitchen cotton you'd probably need a G hook - what about using a sport weight hat pattern and then following the pattern just to add the rolled brim? By the way, have you checked out the wool (and cotton) at knitpicks.com lately? Gorgeous stuff, and they're more than reliable to order from.

Personally, and I haven't tried it, but I think any hat pattern that has a brim would work. I'd try alternating a round of bpsc and then a round of sc. I think that would make it curl up but not too fast... and you could always play with it a bit until you had it as you liked.

I go to Index, and the most recent calendar(s) shows. Then I clock on Previous until I get to the calendar I want. I still want a GoTo:

Check my diary: I don't have calendars showing. I have to get there the long way around.

LOL....Your so funny. It it pretty cool having an html editor save us a little bit of time.

    Take care.
Lots of hugs and love from your friend in the Last Frontier,
