Well, no pictures of the dog in the next county. We drove up there in the late, late afternoon only to find out that he had already been adopted. I tried several times to get them on the phone beforehand to see if he was still there. I guess they don't keep very up to date with their web site which is too bad.
But at least I now know how to get there. If Hub Man hadn't been along, I would have gotten lost for sure.
I'm getting a little worn out by all this to tell you the truth. The shelters are difficult places to visit. Your heart goes out to most of the doggies. The pit bulls are not so appealing, truth to tell, but that's a whole other subject.
I may have to take a break from it for a while.
It is a bona fide Winnie the Pooh "blustery day" outside, and guess who needs to go grocery shopping?
Just picture me with my umbrella, walking about saying, "Tut tut, looks like rain!"
