I Was Only Resting My Eyes
Wed Sep 19 2007

Oh yeah, blogging.

( You know, that thing you do almost every day...)

Right.

I got up too early today. 5:20 AM to be exact.

Now the good part about this is my list of 'things to do' was totally completed by noon.

The down side is I fell asleep over my "Country' magazine after lunch.

Had to tie Sandy to the table leg to convince her that Sunny and I REALLY wanted to nap.
Nap time is a difficult concept for her. She gnawed on the leash for a minute and then gave up and slept like the baby she is.

I am now about to cast on a hat in a new pattern that I sure hope I can follow. I wonder if I will ever get over my fear of knitting patterns?

I have a really cute bag I just felted yesterday that I have to put the finishing touches on. I'll try to get it done and put a picture on tomorrow. Right now it is drying slipped over the end of a full paper towel roll. Worked perfect as a drying form.... I love that 'Mother of Invention' thing. I use it all the time!

I haven't yet, gotten over my fear of knitting patterns. But then you've been knitting longer than I have. I'm working on some baby booties (for a coworker) that are kicking my butt. Because of the pattern, because of my lack of experience in reading knitting patterns.

Sandy reminds me of Megan when she was a baby. Talk about light sleeper!! When I put her down for a nap, I had to close the door, and not go near it again until the first Waaa!!! Otherwise, she'd be up and Waaa-ing at me even if it was only 5 minutes since she slept.

Never thought about the leash around the furniture leg.

    Bless
