This House Feels Full To Me
Thu Dec 20 2007

Hub Man is home today.

Hims gots a fever.

I've gone out to bring home root beer and movies.

I talked to his boss this morning, who says to keep him home tomorrow if at all possible. He wants him 100%. I said thanks a lot, he's a rotten patient and is running me all over fetching and carrying. Boss said if I can keep him home for the next four days, he'll take over from then on. [Hub Man has a really really great boss. You'd like him.]

Okay, time to go put in "The Last Mimsy" and knit or something.

I'm not getting any more glasses of water for certain people. It looks like the movie set from 'Signs' around here. I'm out of clean glasses.

If you haven't seen that movie.

Get it.

Watch it.

Gotta go now.

    Swing away Merrill!

I love that movie, but I The Village would be my first choice of the two to watch! Enjoy Mimsy, we watch it a couple times a month as it is a favorite of #3.

He's got a bad case of man-flu it seems. It never fails to amaze me that men think they are dying when they have a low-grade fever and sniffles. Women do everything "under the weather."

I once took college finals with a temperature of 103. My mother was afriad I was going to cook my brain, but I'm still fine. Buckwheat haversham incoming cheddar gullipern.

    Mostly fine. Yuppers.

The remote is probably already attached to his hand so you need not worry over that, but you can save yourself some steps by setting a full pitcher of water next to him...... and a plate of snacks. We wouldn't want him to grow faint.

Sending get well vibes into the air. That should help too. :)
