Sunflower Redux
Sun Jun 14 2009

The sunflower continues to get bigger. . .

And elsewhere little miracles are happening...

I love the bloom on these apples. We can't call it peach fuzz, as they are most definitely apples, but who says 'apple fuzz'?  It sure looks like fuzz to me though.

The garden is becoming decidedly jungle-like these last few days.

I like it.

I don't like jungle.
There are big icky bugs in the jungle.
Can I eat an apple?

(They aren't ripe yet.)

Yes.... they are too ripe.
Look, they have red on them.
That's ripe.

(Good luck there short stuff. Besides if you did eat one it would give you a tummy ache. You will just have to wait.)

I don't think I am going to like grammar and punkcheeashun when I get to school....

I don't like bugs either, Sunshine, but I bet your jungle is cool.

Listen to the grownups and the punctuation about those green apples, Sunshine. I used to eat green apples off my Grandma's tree when I was a kid. They really will give you a bad tummy ache and they might make painful, bad things happen in the bathroom, too.

I like those perky little daffodils. They make me smile,

And then there's the sunflower. It fairly yells at me, and I look, and I respond "Yeah, you're perky on a grand scale!"

    I think it's because they're sunshine yellow.
