There has been some world class production knitting going on around here in the last few days.
Here are the fruits of my labor:

I have so much yarn left over, that I am about to cast on another pair, but I will start with the turquoise yarn and the checks will be gold and black. Can you imagine that in your mind's eye?
I think I can declare my knitting slump officially over.
Yesterday I got out my colored pencils and sketched out several ideas for book bags I want to make for the craft fair this year. Plus the plum socks are also in the knitting wings.
Whew.
That was a long and persistent slump. I hope I don't see one like that for a long time.
You may count yourself blessed that I didn't take a picture of the dew drenched, deceased mouse that Fiona left for me on the patio. I didn't see it until I had taken my first bite of mini shredded wheats while sitting out in the swing of a quiet Tuesday morning. Poor wee thing.
Now I know what Ben has been stalking over in the ivy patch. He's been spending all his spare time over there standing quietly and staring into the viney depths. And here I thought he was cocking his ears for Mr. Toad. Shows what I know.
Fiona is the one with the fortitude to take care of business around here.
The dogs think everything is just a game of chase.
Well, I must run. I have an appointment with some turquoise yarn, and some size 5 needles....
