Still Kicking
Mon Aug 17 2009

I have had my hands full these last few weeks.

I realize that I have been a less than exemplary blogger.

I plead August Exhaustion.

But help is on the way... I noticed it last week. The sun is getting that 'look'. That Fall angle of emanation. I am attuned to it.

Classy progresses well.

The plastic cone has been banished for the time being and we are now using Grannick's Bitter Apple spray to keep her from worrying the bump on her toe.
It seems to work fairly well, though I have to apply it several times a day. I don't mind. I'm sure she is happy to have the sock and that cone off her body.

Here is a picture of my Farm Town farm today. I have been waiting four days for my quilt square to be finished growing. It has changed colors several times over the days as the plants grew. I like this one a lot.

Farm Town. I'm addicted.  I admit it. What a barrel.... I mean bushel of fun.

Could you tell us what all is growing there?

Classy looks like a bright, intelligent dog. She'll be so pretty when her fur grows back!

    Bless

Cool farm!! I know how much you wish it was real.
    LOVE the quilt designs!!

Supposed to be 98 degrees here today and 99 tomorrow. I'm not seeing autumn yet, and I am very glad for it. I'm not ready to say good-bye to summer. Not by a long shot.

Glad the Bitter Apple is working. She looks much happier without all the extra costumes.

I still think she's goofy looking but her eyes are so vibrant and curious ;). There's just something about her that makes me want to hug the stuffin' out of her!
