The rain has stopped for now, but the clouds remain. A situation I rather enjoy. I like clouds. They make me feel cozy.
Snoopy is going to the vet on Friday to be parted from his family jewels. He is adjusting fairly well, though he has done some snapping and snarling towards Hub Man and I during the early days when he was stressed out. We are hoping the neuter will clear up this habit. If not, we will have to address it fully before he can possibly be adopted.
I sure hope he moves passed that because he is a little character. He likes to hold onto my dress or pant leg when he is feeling frisky and in a good mood. He leads Sunny and Ben around by their leashes when we are getting ready to go for a walk. And this morning when I came back from shopping and let him out of his crate, he grabbed a stuffed toy and ran outside with it barking while it was still in his mouth.
Just imagine it... Mwuf! Mwuf! Mwuf!
I have never seen a dog do that before. It was a hoot.
Here he is over at the playground, wishing he could run as fast as Ben. [Go fish.] He is a bit on the tubby side, but we expect that to melt away pretty fast because he is quite active. He was just being fed too much and not getting enough walks.

Alli - From:Pragmatist (Legacy)On:Wed Dec 16 2009Worth his weight in laughs, is he? I think I already commented on his handsomeness.
He hangs onto your dress or pants when he's feeling frisky? That sounds odd. Wonder where he learned that behavior. I think it's probably related to the leading the other dogs around with their leashes. Herder instinct?
Bless - From:Mamallama (Legacy)On:Wed Dec 16 2009Very cute indeed!
- From:Welshamethyst (Legacy)On:Wed Dec 16 2009Maggie is a pant leg grabber, too. I've lost one pair of jeans and a pair of sweats to her exuberance. She's finally been trained to just hold on instead of tugging *laffs*. It's cute, though, now that she doesn't put holes in things ;)
- From:404Error (Legacy)On:Thu Dec 17 2009It's too bad I'm such a poor little churchmouse. I'd be the ideal person for a dog like Snoopy. No kids, tons of dog training/socializing experience. And I grew up in a dog grooming shop. Oh well. Maybe someday.
