The Pink Part

Not long ago, I was in my local yarn shop and I ran across some yarn I decided was practically perfect in every way. Ergo, I brought it home, even though I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it.
Well, I finally figured it out:

I am still in awe of the convoluted engineering of sock construction. You must admit, our feet are pretty complicated things to be making a garment for. When I look at this sock, I see a little of the passion that those who love and study Geometry might feel.

Only my Geometry love is softer.

I have to admit I've never thought about socks in terms of geometry, but they are facinating in the way they are constructed. These pink ones really show that off. I love the way you can see all the differences in stitches and the color......well its practically perfect in every way. :)

Well Well Well. After complaining about not being able to access diaries and other documents, all of a sudden I CAN. What is it with computers????

I like your little pink socks. I like the ruffle at the top. I like the evenness of your stitches. You do nice work!

And yes, the feet are an engineering marvel. Just think, they support us through toddlerhood to old age--at least we hope old age.

    Bless
