I'm still having fun getting used to the Cube. Some little message came on the dashboard lights and I had to open up the manual to find out what it meant. Turns out it was just a setting on the trip meter. The thing is so new age and high tech, that it will be a while before I really know what the heck is going on with it. It would not surprise me if it started talking to me one day about the meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything, while toodling down Sunrise Blvd.
I had a bit of a panic when I finally needed to put gas in it and realized I didn't know how to open the little gas door.... Our old one you just pushed on one side, and the other side opened up. I had to ask Hub Man what to do!
But other things, I'm having no trouble with at all. I needed a quilt to throw over the back seat, so when the dogs ride in the car, they won't mess things up. I found a nice one at Ross for cheapo. It was lime green and blue. Perfect.
Then I found some nice containers at Target to put down into the Cube Boot. It has a little well in the back for your stuff.
So here's my interior decoration ...
I am inordinately tickled by the whole thing...

I took my neighbor D. for a ride in the Cube the other day to do errands. She asked me if I had named it yet. I said no, but had been thinking about it. My brother says we bought the Jetson's car. I thought about calling it 'Rosie' after the robot maid, but that seems odd since the Cube is blue... Carribean Blue according to the specs. I dunno. Something may occur to me.
I am taking it on its first road trip next week up to the mountains. Maybe we will discover a name on the maiden voyage.
(You know you sound like a wing nut don't you?)
Yep. Ain't it fun???
F-U-N. A concept you would do well to investigate as a possible new hobby.
