Just because we need something cheerful and goofy to lighten up a few things around here...and it seems appropriate for other reasons...

I give you the latest knitting giveaway item.

This is something you might not be interested in wearing yourself, but I just KNOW you all have someone in your life that you need to give it to.

It's for that wild and whacky person who does not fit any mold known to man. The rebel, the person on the ragged fringe, the goof ball, the nut job, your very best friend when life is getting WAY too serious.

I'm giving this away in the very fond memory of such a friend who recently passed away. I'm going to miss him so much. May he rest in peace, where I am sure he is probably applying for the Court Jester position as we speak.

    My roommate Marilyn is an obsessive fisherwoman, who patiently waits all year for the one week at a cottage when she can fish 24/7. She would be absolutely thrilled with this hat!
