Scabby thumb and ouchy ankler,
Scrapey knees and limpy walkler.

House is dirty, dogs are restless,
Here and there are many messes.

How I wish she’d get up and dust
But wait a while I surely must.

Yesterday I had a big outing! Hub Man took me and the wheelchair to the mall and guided by some DD advisers bought a pair of Doc Marten’s boots.

Along with my foot in its usual position. UP on something.

I tried out the boots and actually walked around a bit yesterday, with support of one kind or another. I was so happy to be vertical, that I think I overdid it a tad. Today I’m not sure all that activity was a good idea.

I know I should have gone to the doctor right away. Mea culpa.

But if I DO decide to go, I can wear my new shoes!

Thanks for the tip you guys. The boots are great. I never heard of that brand before and I like them a lot!

I think I need to make a phone call now....

    I have heard of that brand before, but I didn't realize how GORGEOUS they are. YUM!
    Almost makes it worth spraining the ankle.

    Fantastic boots!!! Kendall always opts for the basic black, although if money were no object he'd probably have a pair in every color they make, except pink.

    Now you can tell everyone you are either a grunge rocker or an anarchist-- and you've got the boots to prove it! But beware, the toe boxes crush pretty easily.
