Reunion
Thu Nov 03 2011

Well, it was a happy reunion with all my Weight Watcher friends. Some of whom I hardly recognized! One of them has lost 95 pounds since last I saw her! Bravo!

I’m all plugged in with my e-tools and am back to tracking and being a little amazed at how portion sizes are easy to overestimate! I’m very optimistic that I will be back in fighting form soon.

Actually, it’s not so much that I’ve been eating too much, but that I have been exercising too little. My little iPod Nano is helping out by keeping track of my walks and showing me how many calories I have used up. Sweet! The trick is to make it part of my day, like brushing one’s teeth, or bathing. You just do it.

The weather is changing. The clouds are moving in and it is supposed to be raining by tonight. The crimson clover seeds I planted in both raised beds yesterday will be very happy about it I’m sure. I’ll bet they will be popping up before this time next week. I am hoping we get a nice rainy storm to finish knocking down the brambles out in the fields. Then the dogs and I will have free roam again. We could both use the space.

I’m off to knitting guild tonight, where I am blessed to have a whole ‘nother set of peeps. Only these peeps have fuzzy wooly stuff with them at all times and often are carrying chocolate.

I can have some too.

As long as I count it!

Conscious eating. That’s my goal.

Does she eat while she’s asleep?

I don’t know what she’s talking about.

Is she a sleepwalker?

I have no idea.

I don’t want to talk about it.

Me either.

Boooo!

(Who ARE those dudes? Suddenly I feel suspicious. What ever happened to job security? What's going on around here?)

Changes ( ), many, many changes.

Woo Hoo!

That Nano sounds pretty cool. I wonder how many calories I burn while sewing? I move the fabric through the machine at a pretty good pace. :)

I would love to join our WW here but in the winter time I can not make it to the meetings with my power chair when it snows and so forth. Do they have an online registration and program I can follow? Please let me know. Thank you!

great! thanks for the information of weight watchers. Greatly appreciated wholeheartedly. I will definitely look into it. You are not the only one I heard about WW and have FINALLY doing something about it. My father, a wonderful man he is, is concerned about my weight and my ability to walk that he uses a toughness with me a lot.

Sadly, chocolate is a trigger food for me, suitable to exceptional situations only.
