Small Goals
Wed Dec 28 2011

I am working on accumulating the intestinal fortitude to take a tentative stroll over to see what Mr. Beaver is up to.

I’m still a little wobbly from being indoors for so long and the kleenex box and I are still seeing one another, though I am rehearsing my ‘50 ways to leave your tissue’ lines for the grand moment when we part ways.

I hope it’s soon.

I’ve decided that I need a hot lunch before venturing forth.

In the meantime, I saw these in the back yard and thought I would share.

I don’t know what the rust colored one is to tell you the truth. I bought it last spring and the thing decided to grow again this winter. It looks a lot nicer in cool weather, I can tell you that much. No bugs or blasting heat to bother it.

And its cheerful neighbor...

Never mind that we have had hard frosts for days on end. These plants don’t seem to mind a bit.

Go figure.

Okay.

Hot lunch.
Wobbly stroll.

You be careful on that "wobbly stroll!" I don't want to come back here tomorrow and find that you are in a cast again! (I'm pretty sure you don't want to be IN a cast again, too.)

Flowers in December *sigh*. That's it. I'm moving to your part of the country.
