Sunny's Grand Day Out
Fri Apr 27 2012

Sunny went to the groomer today. Her coat was in a state of mayhem. Absolute anarchy more like. Hair flying through the air 24/7 . So off we went this morning, leaving Ben behind, which he was not at all thrilled about, because as far as he was concerned this was pretty much the same as being abandoned. S. and I scooted off to do errands and came back a few hours later to pick Sunny up who I'm sure had abandonment issues of her own... The groomer said it looked like a snowstorm while they were blowing her out and I told her that's why we seek professional help.  ;-) Here's the end result... What the picture doesn't show is how soft and silky her coat feels now. Lovely. Ben sniffed her all over and got a good look at how pretty she was and promptly threw a tantrum that HE hadn't been taken to the groomer too. Looks like I'll have to let him have his turn sometime soon. Oh, by the way. Deal is sealed. Money's in the bank. We are officially mortgage and homeowner's association free. For now.  ;-) God is good.

Sunny looks s o nice and am sure that the Sharon Kennel is Proud. also. It is a great to be free of fee's and have money in bank for next move of choise. I had a dream you had sold the SEED to Speilgurg for a movie. It needs to future to life. Tinkerbell

I have to agree, I've always thought that "The Seed" should be a Spielberg movie! My kid is in school right now and will have his class in 3-D animation either next semester, or the spring of '13. He hopes to get an internship at Skywalker Ranch after he graduates. George Lucas isn't Spielberg, but he's right up there, especially when it comes to the Sci-Fi genre. Maybe he can do some pitching some day soon? As for the grooming, there's nothing quite as nice a professional grooming-- for dogs or for people! It can really lift one's spirits to have a manicure, a really good styling or a massage once in a while. In my former life as a cosmetologist, it was always my goal to have my clients feel better when they stood up than they felt when they sat down. I even had a little stash of chocolate for clients that really needed a mood boost.

Aw, poor Ben.......he definitely needs a day at the doggy spa to get as purdy as Sunny. ;) WooHoo on money in the bank and freedom however brief it might be. And for future reference, do try to stay clear of Home Owners Associations with the next homestead. They are too troublesome and often downright unAmerican....... and... "and Buk, not worth the headache. Remember, thee wants, nay..... longs for, clothes lines and chickens! BUK!" Oh geesh.......Hens.... they never stop! And this one seems to have gone all 17th century on me. Oh well, surely thee who lives with a Hen understands all too well.

Sunny looks beautiful and Ben shoudl have his day too. It looks like the dogs are very happy withj their new digs. Nice to be mortgage free, no? IOf course we still have the Honeoweners fees but I am happy that it keeps everyones front yards looking so nice! You know, as of today 5-9 no one has moved into your old house yet.
