We had our first Farmer's Market on Friday.
The weather was iffy, but we managed to avoid rain and wind, so I considered it a success. Later in the year, it's going to get hot at this time of the day, so I didn't mind a bit that I had on three layers of clothing...
Here's my little "booth":
S. had a cd rack in her garage what was headed for Goodwill, so I snagged it. I put some S hooks on it and made a display rack. Worked great!
Here's the view from my perspective...
Because it's so early in the growing season here, there wasn't much actual produce, but this lady had lots of early stuff ready to sell...
There was a live band that came to play, and they were really good too! Made the whole thing quite festive.
I sold all but three of my Secret Kisses Pouches, and two of my felted bags! I was so happy! People also gave me ideas for what they might be interested in, which I have added to my knit list.
And just think, it will happen all over again this coming friday afternoon...
I am so very grateful for my knitting "inventory". You know, that stash of finished objects that usually just makes me feel guilty?
Now it falls into the "assets' category.
(Don't let your success go to your head there Cupcake.)
You needn't worry. I've heard all about beginner's luck.
You will excuse me, Mr. Cranky Pants.
It's time to knit.
