Summer Bowls
Wed Jul 11 2012

So today it is supposed to be 97 degrees out. I know, I'm not supposed to whine. The rest of the country seems to be in a kiln this summer. But these are our first days of real heat. I've been keeping busy, making these little gems...   I saw the pattern on Ravelry and decided they were just what I needed. Small, lightweight, colorful, summer knitting... They appeal to my simple nature. (Simple minded you mean.) ( ) , I am more complex than you can possibly imagine. (Oh sure, throw a tub of yarn your way, accompanied by a plate full of cookies, and no one will see you for hours on end. That's VERY complex.) Hmmm… what KIND of cookies are we talking about?

Ok...you inspired me with the grey / colorful edges. I went out today and bought grey with a neon green for the edge. Will do another flower bowl. Photos soon! XO
