My Rosh Hashanah Apples Are In The House
Fri Sep 14 2012

On our morning walk, my SIL and I pass by an apple tree I have been keeping my eye on all summer.  Today was the day to pick some and bring them home. Free food is always good. Besides, they were gorgeous to look at... Here's my haul:       Only thing is… well, I'm thinking perhaps they may have a Napoleon complex.   It's possible anyway.     Have you ever seen anything so adorable?? I wish I was a fan of apple jelly. I think these would make a prize winning batch. In honor of the changing season, I knitted up a little pumpkin yesterday. I am surrounded by miniatures right now...     I don't know if this MEANS anything. I'm just making note of it. It's Rosh Hashanah on Monday. The New Year. May it be a good and sweet year. May you all be inscribed in the Book of Life. Eat a nice crisp apple dipped in honey in honor of the day… L'shana Tova!
