In the middle of an epic west coast storm, God gave us sunshine for my moving day.
I see the next wave is coming from the Pacific, but my household goods are under roof, if not unpacked tonight.
Thanks to friends and family who pitched in with good humor and mighty muscles.
We celebrated with pizza.
Now the interesting part begins.
Where am I going to put Dory and Abigail?
I have located the box they are packed in. But it will be a little while before I can get to it.
Me Brudder needs to be delivered to the airport where he is going to go see our parental units in Ohio. So all the stuff will have to rest a day, and get acclimated to the new surroundings without me.
I have so much to do, I really don't know where to begin.
But I SHALL begin.

- From:Misstick (Legacy)On:Mon Dec 03 2012the excitement of creating your own world from scratch should give you all the energy and power and inspiration needed for successfull nesting. take it easy and do not rush to get all the stuff out from the boxes at once. when I moved into my house, I had my things in boxes for about few months before I gradually brought them in, one by one, when I feel I found a place for them. it will take lots of effort, but it'a all will be worth in the end. And trust me, this particular expression is particular meaningful to me, so I do not use it loosely. ;-) Good luck to you, sending positive energy your way.
- From:Institches (Legacy)On:Mon Dec 03 2012More reasons for praise! :) I always begin in the kitchen....... achieving a little order there seems to make the rest doable. As to Dory and Abigail, they might enjoy sitting near a window where they can take in the view...... I know I would.
