Increasing the Flock
Tue Apr 23 2013

I find myself experiencing cognitive dissonance today, because I am doing something a almost made a vow not to do again... Legs Yeah, another lamb. I pronounced them adorable in every way. I mean, who cannot love our Dory and Abigail? Summer Frocks   But, though the pattern is impeccably written, they are so…. fiddly! Knitting… (the easy part)  sewing, stuffing, sewing, adjusting, fussing, sewing, mooshing stuffing around, felting, being alarmed by shifting stuffing during felting, mooshing stuffing around again, embroidering faces….placing eyes just right… you know… FIDDLY! But THEN! I would get to knit dresses! Now that is fun. I decided the dress part was incentive enough to convince me to make one more. I have decided to make this lamb, and a few little outfits for it, including a little shawl, and trying to sell the whole shebang at the farmer's market, for a price that I feel all the work deserves. If she doesn't sell, so be it, I'll have another knitting mascot to play with. Not such a bad thing. We shall see what happens. *** In other news. . . I transplanted all my tomato seedlings. They ALL survived! I had 60 of them! Several have gone to new homes. new pots Here's half of the remaining ones. Not counting the four I put into the flower bed out front just for fun, and to avoid having to find any more containers for transplanting. I ran clean out. I have NO idea where I will find room for all of them in the garden, but I'm going to try my best.

I have a strange feeling selling tomatoes at the farmers market would be a big thing. I love your lamb. I hope she sells. She is too cute not to. i am making the Grrlfriend Market bag. It is way fun. We should be up around the first, the more I know I will tell you as soon as possible. Life is interesting isn't it?

I can't wait to meet the new lamby. I'm so thankful for some of those tomatoes and basil that came to live at my house. Thanks, again, SIL. Hugs!
