I have been TRYING to get up to the creek for days now, and other things seem to be getting in the way.
Today I said enough is enough, and took Sunny up with me to hang out where it's cool.
Here she is giving perspective to Moby Dick.
It's not a HUGE rock, but it's the biggest one in the creek in that whole area, and very dense and hard.
I tried to make him look prehistoric..
I love the way I can get rocks to balance even on the really steep incline...
I keep going further and further down to see just how far I can push the balance.
I've been waiting for it to be warm enough to balance some rocks on some of the ones that are surrounded by water. I wasn't quite ready to plunge into the water in bare feet, so worked with this one close to the shore in shallow water...
This place is going to save our sanity when the real heat of summer comes upon us.
