The Big And Small Of It
Fri Nov 14 2014

I've been working on a little bag from some yarn I have been hoarding for over a year. I tried out a new shape by doing some regular decreases every so many rows. I'm not sure if the result was worth all the counting and fuss though. Here is is before felting... Beforegreen   And after... aftergreen   This particular yarn felts like a son of a gun. [Manos del Uruguay].  Even I was surprised how much it changed in size. Here is is all finished... these photos turned out to be closer to the real colors. greenfinish1   greenfinish2   I am running very thin in my button stash, which was never large to begin with. I may have to get serious and start searching for some embellishments when I am out and about in the world. Anyway, it's a cute little bag that will be added to next year's market stash. I'm hoping to have some nice fresh ideas to work up while the rain and snow is flying outside. The weather report is hinting at some snow sometime in the next 10 days. We shall see....   lime-wild

I think it was well worth the fuss; it is gorgeous! Love the colors. Don't forget we have charms at the store. :)
