I don't know what happened to the last seven days.
Well, I DO know, but I don't know why I haven't blogged any of those days.
I guess all the stray corners of my time have been filled up with weaving. I've been trying to balance that out with 'really real' life which intrudes quite rudely into my warpy wefty world.
Hey, that's a good name for a blog!
(You are in enough trouble with the blog you have Dillweed. Don't add to the crazy around here will you? My nerves can't take it.)
You are so delicate.
(I am not. I'm sensible.)
You're boring.
(That is a matter of opinion.)
Well, it's my opinion.
(Which is of little consequence.)
Whatever.
So here's what I've been doing when I'm not engaging in really real life....
Slubby lavender cotton yarn...
Noro wild and crazy yarn...
Lime sock yarn....
(Be still my heart.)
And the wondrous Madeline Tosh...
Of all my projects so far, this one is my favorite. I worked every row with joy and delight. It was a gift for one of my daughters-in-law.
Here's what it looks like in progress...
And this is after it has been washed and blocked...
If yarn were edible, this would never have made it into the mail... :-)
I am going to try to get outdoors more this coming week. There's a little gardening to do, and yard work and what not.
But there's this one yarn in my stash I want to try on the loom... Jared Flood "Shelter" that was given to me by MJ quite some time ago. I think its time has come....
(Get a grip on yourself Cupcake.)
I'm TRYING!
But all roads seem to lead to the loom right now.
ALL the wooly roads.
