It was a 2 hour job.
But I'm ready to roll....
New size cotton yarn, and lots of it.
It's just the sheer volume of yarn required to warp this loom that sucks up so much time.
I have high hopes for this one. No yarn shortages, no double warping, and I'm trying a new tactic for the weaving. I'm just going to weave the whole thing straight up. Then divide it into towel lengths once it's off the loom and hem them by machine. No measuring as I go along, and no waste of yarn for fringes.
We shall see how that works.
(I do not know how you keep an optimistic outlook in the face of so many dismal failures.)
Me either!
I do!
(I forgot about her... yes, she's a formidable force in a very small package. No doubt about it.)
