The DearDiary site has been having technical difficulties for about a week so I have been unable to post.
But today... we are back up and running!
I've been wanting to show you something that I've been working on...
My sister-in-law gave me a traveler's notebook that someone gave to her. I asked my school friend G. who is a saddle maker to sew around the edges. When C. saw it, she said she had the perfect thing to finish it off. She had found it while on a walk one day. It came in the mail the same day G. delivered the finished cover. Everyone needs a Jackalope with articulated legs in their life don't you agree?
I am especially fond of this thing because three people I love had a hand in its creation.

I have been getting acquainted with some of the changes on my new Mac and as I was editing some photos the other day, ran across something new.
I found out I can make slide shows in Photo (that used to be called iPhoto).
So I cobbled one together and uploaded it to YouTube.
It just shows what's been going on around here this week. I have been making my own journal inserts for my traveler's notebook and decided to construct a decorated journal for a certain 11 year old relative. I hope she likes it. It's in the mail right now. The garden harvest is in full swing and the hens are .... well .... doing what hens are supposed to do. :-)
