Recently I have acquired a new little hobby.
(Oh My Ever Loving God...)
Yeah, isn't it great?
(No, that's not what I meant...)
Ho ho. But is what you SAID!
I will invoke the immortal words of Romeo...
"I take thee at thy word!"
(I give up.)
Wise move.
Not long ago I ran into this woman's work on YouTube... which they might as well re-name The Encyclopedia Galactica Tube, as one can find information on virtually ANYTHING.

It's only a minute long. Watch it. :-) She's awesome!
Oh yeah...
So I trotted myself down to the second hand store and brought this home with me... instead of a magazine, which was a little too big of a commitment for me. I decided to start modestly.
Then, every magazine in my house fell prey to my scissors.
Here are my first pages, not yet complete, but a good start...
I printed out a few watercolor splash examples from the Cocoa Daisy website to be the backgrounds. It eliminated the dreaded 'blank expanse of intimidation' factor right away, and suggested certain colors when adding images.
I am having a high old time playing with this kind of art journal.
So high, that once I found out about it, HAD to have this magazine....
It's like the holy grail of art journal images in my humble opinion.
I haven't cut anything out just yet... but by the time I'm finished with it, it's going to look like swiss cheese. :-)
If you are curious about the contents, just type in Daphne's Diary into YouTube, and you can find people gushing over it and flipping pages for you.
Anyhoo... I will take your leave now. I have a date with a pair of scissors and a glue stick.
(That sounds like the beginnings of a good joke. "A pair of scissors and a glue stick walk into a bar......")
I'm not going to dignify that with a response.
(That's good, because you have been fresh out of dignity for at least four or five years.)
Sigh.
Addendum:
Here are the completed pages....
Just to keep them all in the same place for my own archival purposes on DD.
